‘4-Dimensional beings could have 3-dimensional eye receptors, except the 3-d dimension here is our 4th dimension’
‘Think of us, we have corneas that light passes through to get to the retinas where the light is sensed. Both these objects are 2-d objects, folded into 3-dimensions (the spherical eye ball).
Now think of flatlander Steve, to live in a perfectly flat 2-dimensional world steve only needs to see what is in his world, it is not evolutionary favorable to expend energy to evolve and maintain organs that see a 3rd dimension here because Steve can’t interact with it and it’s a waste of energy. Now Steve needs to see in his own world, light coming from other plains is extraneous and unnecessary if not downright unhelpful for Steve to be seeing or understanding. To deal with this Steve has eyes that are 2-dimensional, like little circles with a tiny hole in front. Only light that comes through the hole and lands on the back is recognized in Steve’s brain. Now if Steve were to somehow bend him head upwards into a 3rd dimension he might not be able to understand what he was seeing, because the 2D slices of our or anther 3D world don’t make sense to him. He would have to focus on remembering the different images then ‘stitch’ them together in his memory to get a 3D view. This action itself would likely need some sort of impetus from a 3rd dimension to push him or his head or his eyes ‘up’ or ‘down’ which are terms Steve have no familiarity about in his day to day life.
When you compare Steve’s eyes to our they aren’t too dissimilar; the eye different is mostly another dimension added to it. Except it’s the dimension that makes a difference in the daily survival of the now 3-D being. Our brains can use one eye to represent the 3D world and 2 eyes to focus more clearly on parts of the 3D world.
Now expand this into the next dimension. The 4D being has eyes that are 3D receptors and 3D pupils, wrapped into a 4D shape. In this case, the 4th dimension is a fourth spatial dimension with directions called ‘ana’ and ‘katana’. These directions are orthogonal to our dimension, or at ‘right angles’ similar to how the 3D world and the 2D world are separated by a dimension at right angles to the 2D world. Right now I think these two directions are directly ‘outside’ and ‘inside’ of our own, like a universe of nesting dolls.
Let us imagine how a person or even a sphere could enter into flatland at any location they wanted, but were always a fixed relationship to that universe. The flatlander universe if before them, they can push their finger or spherical body into the flatland and intersect it. To the eyes of Steve this circle being appeared very small then in an unbelievable quickness because very large.
Though they can pass through flatland, or to the experience of Steve appear and disappear in it, they can’t get bigger or smaller, they have a fixed size in all dimensions the way we do. Their 4D bodies might extend through multiple 3D universes are the same time, but they would be in roughly the same location within them when they were, and by moving through the 4th dimension, which would be the one evolutionary favorable for a 4D being to be able to move through, they could appear or disappear at any location in a 3D universe
Well the 2D retinas extend ana and katana into the 4th dimension, not our third dimension as that wouldn’t be helpful. The 4D being exists through multiple 3D planes concurrently and they need to be able to ‘see’ there as well. Like we need to navigate 3 dimensions they need to do so in 4. there is the question of how time translates into a higher dimension and if they are the same or vastly different.
When a 4D being that can enter a 3D world choses to do so they can extended many of the same body part into the same 4D layer, appeared as a multi armed or multi eyed being

I’ve an explanation for how this could be possible by extrapolating our world from a lower dimension.
Imagine flatland, Ken lives there and is a circle. Flatland is a 2D slice of 3D space, but to create 3D space many 2D slices need to be added on top of each other. Imagine a cube, flatland is one slice or even edge of the cube. Ken is a circle in his flatland but a sphere in the cube.
Now if you were to take the 2D slice that is immediately next to the one Ken lives in you would get a slice of the sphere that is Ken, that would be very similar but slightly different than the circle version of ken that existed in his own flat land. Now take more slices, greater changes in Ken and his world.
Now rotate the slice through the sphere, you’re getting elements from a multitude of the other Kens we just saw. What is the flatland is a 2D plate that is folded throughout the 3D space?
There could be a bug version of all of us

the 4th dimension with one that is in multiple universes.
Actually I don’t think I am here. it just appears that way to us
because the multiple 3D planes that are stacked next to other are
similar to how a 3D cube in a 3D world can be made by ‘stacking’ 2D
planes ‘on top’ on each other.
If the 4D universe exists then there should be an infinite number of 3D planes stacked ‘on top’ of each other
If you can help me though we might be able to find a better way to word it.
For Steve, any movement in any direction not in his own plane takes him at least partly into another 2D plane, that can also be ones stacked at an angle to his own
now extrapolate upward to us. What steve thinks of the next ‘layer’ is what we think of as another universe next to our own
here are are strictly talking about 4 spatial dimension, time is still present so these 4D being live in a 5D world.
Steve has time the same way we do in this idea

I wrote this last time I saw one of these multieye images; Just what a 4-dimensional creature would look like pushing all it’s eyes into our single 3-D world at once.
Like you can imagine flatland with little square people. then you imagine that flatland is only one sheet in a post it, with other flat lands directly above and below it. In a 3D view there could be cube people, and in a single 2D plane they look like square people.
Now push that thought experiment out to a 4-D world, where our 3D universe is only one of the above sheets, with other universe right ‘above’ and ‘below’ (ana & katana) us. And imagine there are living being that live in that 4D world. Like a cube person would be made of many square people each in their flat plane; thus could a 4D being exist in a 3D world as a ‘projection’ that is only part of themselves. These 4D beings live in multiple universe (of our 3d universes of course) concurrently, so to survive they need to see and interact with each of the 3D universe they move through, as a results such a creature would have a huge amount of eyes.
Thus we speculate that a 4D being (4 spatial dimensions , not 3D+time) would have lots of eyes, each capable of observing a single universe at a time, but would also be able to move and push many of their eyes at once into a single 3D world. ;
but in this case I’d like to point out that we have technology to use lasers to create plasma balls far away, and we can modulate that plasma ball to make noise. I haven’t seen any pubic technology of this which can cause complete speech or music from the glowing ball in the distance but that is something they were working on and not something I think they would make public right away

6) I already talked about how a 4D being exists in many 3D universes and has the capacity to move parts into one, so that they could have multiple eyes, or hands.
We mentioned that the 3D slice of the 4D metabody could be interpreted differently across the diffierent 3D plains. {imagine you have a bound flatland in 2D, if you stacked that universe with many similar ones you would end with a small cube. Now we take as a given that the Circle guy in flatland is a sphere person in the cube we just made. Then we take a slice from a different point of view and angle of the cube and create our own flatland. We postulate that this universe also exists and it does so bound with the original one. Where when Sphere person moves they do so in all stacked plains of every angle and orientation. A circle is created but the surroundings are much changed. If we apply a self similarity to the circle and make him more complicated then there could be an angled slice that presents the sphereoid person as appearing square or oval.}
So what if a different 3D slice of the 4D being that we are each made out of (in this thought experiment) could result in you resembling an elephant or eagle. Could you bring forth and present your face as that of an animal, or a 3 or 4 headed being with multiple animals faces at the same time?
7)
. Imagine Bob in flat land, and that flat land is a real place with active 2D life, and that that flat plane is just one ‘slice’ somewhere out of our own universe. There may be an infinite other flatlands, but not all will have life; just like there are infinite ‘planes’ of 2D sheets that make up our universe. Or if flat land was one post it, there are a stack of post its that make a block. Bob may be a square in flat land but he could be just one layer in a cube (or stately tetrahedron) that is in the post it block. Then you might also take any other slice at other angles to see another ‘flatland’ made out of the postit cube. Then that our own universe is similar in the sense that, depending what plane you are looking from, we have 2 other 3D universe pressed right next to us in a 4D (4 spatial dimensions, time is not involved right here) cube.
These things are so close, just past or at the liimt of impossibility. Less than the plank length away.
I have more fun ideas about this and how living beings that are native to this 4D world would be and how they might interact with our own universe, like the story of the 3D creature moving through 2D space in flatland
And I have another idea about how there might be more of these collections of universes across multiple dimensions that are out of scale to our own that may run in an infinite ‘turltes all the way down’ style, where the action of a universe actually dictates what happens to it once that universe grows old and dies and how life may be able to influence the fate of a universe which actually impacts a field which interacts with other fields that are themselves created from universes within them, and how that can interact to influence the larger universe which the field is only the most infinitesimal part of
8) if we could have a Y axis for time made of parallel universes like ours stacked at right angles to our 3d world, which has a Z axis where each interval is a separate ‘particle’ or lowest level of thing {TSA}. Could we then have an infinite (or nearly so) amount of our 3D universes stacked into a 4d hyperspace universe, where depending on how you look at something you can see that thing as displayed across any multiverses? But to do that I need a way to represent our 3D universe as a flat 2D shape and then a way to represent that as a linear 1D line. If your klein bottle approximation can be used to represent higher dimensions via the holograph idea of emergent existence then could we stack a bunch of these ‘bottles’ next to /on top of each other?
